There’s A Problem Over Bey & Jay Z’s New Mansion

The folks who built Beyonce and Jay-Z's new Bel-Air house apparently scored a fortune off them, but screwed the little guy who did the dirty work, this according to a new lawsuit.

Qwest Engineering is suing famed real estate developer Dean McKillen and Cuesta Estate, the developers of Bey and Jay-Z's $88 million estate, for allegedly stiffing them on at least $200k of work Qwest says it did on the house prior to it being sold to the couple.

In the documents, Qwest says McKillen and Cuesta asked them to do all the excavating on the house and to specifically carve out a space for a future basement.

Qwest says that required 2,000 sq. feet at a height of 12 feet and 888 cubic yards of dirt to be taken out, which they say they quickly wrapped up over 5-6 weeks with McKillen and Cuesta breathing down their necks.

When it was time to pay up, Qwest says McKillen and Cuesta came up empty-handed, and never gave 'em their cash, an alleged whopping $205,337.

They now want more than $1.8 mil in punitive damages.

NBC Issues Hugging Guidelines To Staff In Wake Of Matt Lauer Sexual Assault Scandal

NBC News has issued new guidelines to staff in the wake of the sexual harassment scandal surrounding Matt Lauer, America's highest-paid television news host.

Lauer was fired on November 28 after The New York Times reported allegations from multiple women about sexual harassment.

He was the network's highest-paid star, earning $25 million a year.

The broadcaster has now reportedly issued new behavioural guidelines, obtained by The New York Post.

Employees have been ordered to report any inappropriate relationships in the workplace, according to the paper, and if they fail to do so, they could be fired for covering up for colleagues.

Detailed rules also have been issued about conduct in the office, including how to socialise and even how to hug colleagues.

“Romantic relationships at work are not exactly unusual, but now NBC says it is taking a zero-tolerance approach," a source told the paper.

"Staffers have been told that if they find out about any affairs, romances, inappropriate relationships or behaviour in the office, they have to report it to human resources, their superior or the company anti-harassment phone line.

"Staffers are shocked that they are now expected to snitch on their friends."

The source added that there are also "a series of ridiculous rules" issued to guide office conduct.

"One rule relates to hugging. If you wish to hug a colleague, you have to do a quick hug, then an immediate release, and step away to avoid body contact," the source said.

Israel To Name New Jerusalem Train Station After Donald Trump

Israel is to name a planned new railway station close to Judaism's hallowed Western Wall in annexed east Jerusalem after US President Donald Trump, the transport minister has said.

Trump has been lauded by the Jewish state and sparked international condemnation by breaking years of US policy to recognise the holy city as Israel's capital.

Minister Israel Katz approved a plan on Tuesday to extend a high-speed rail line under construction between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem into the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and build a station next to the Western Wall, a statement said.

The station close to the holiest site where Jews are permitted to pray will be called "Donald John Trump", the minister ordered, in tribute to his "historic and courageous decision" on Jerusalem.

Former Chelsea Star George Weah Becomes Liberia's 25th President

Retired footballer George Weah has won the elections in Liberia to become the country's 25th president.

"I am deeply grateful to my family, my friends, and my loyal supporters who contributed to our campaign during this extremely long election season," Weah said on Twitter before the results were announced.

Weah is set to replace Africa’s first female head of state, economist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and see the West African nation, founded by freed American slaves, hand over power from one democratically elected government to another.

Fans Blasts Lewis Hamilton After Admitting He Was ‘So Sad' His Nephew Wore A Dress On Christmas Day

Lewis Hamilton has been blasted by fans after admitting he was 'so sad' his nephew chose to wear a princess dress on Christmas day.

The Formula One driver shared highlights from his family get together on Instagram.

However, one video landed him in hot water after shocked viewers claimed he was guilty of 'gender-shaming' the youngster and even demanded he be stripped of his MBE for his comments.

The controversial video starts with Lewis looking directly into the camera as he says, "I'm so sad right now."

The sports star then spins the camera round to reveal his young nephew wearing a pink gown and holding a fluffy love heart wand.

"Why are you wearing a princess dress?" Lewis then asks him. "Is this what you got for Christmas?" he continues as the boy nods and giggles.

"Boys don't wear princess dresses!" Lewis told him as the video comes to an end.

Fans of the star were less than impressed with his outburst.

"All respect lost for Lewis Hamilton," fumed one disappointed follower.

Others called for him to be stripped of his MBE, which he collected in 2009 after winning the World Championship.

"I really thought Lewis was a good guy until I saw this," complained another.

Piers Morgan Saved From Cancer By An Observant Viewer Who Noticed Something Unusual About Him

Piers Morgan has told how he was saved from cancer after an eagle-eyed viewer got in touch when she noticed something unusual about his appearance.

The Good Morning Britain host was contacted by a Melanoma expert when she spotted a small blemish on his chest.

Gillian Nuttall, founder of Melanoma UK, urged him to seek medical advice.

The 52 year-old dad-of-three said Gillian emailed him to say: "'Piers, at the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I'm just watching your programme and there's a blemish on your chest. Have you had it checked?"

Following Gillian's warning, Piers visited a leading dermatologist, according to the Daily Star, who then cut out the blemish.

Piers was told the mark could have turned cancerous if it had been left unattended much longer. Observant viewer!

British Troops In Afghanistan Given Just £1 Each To Celebrate Christmas

British troops in Afghanistan have reportedly only been given £1 a head for Christmas celebrations by penny-pinching defence chiefs.

American soldiers have reportedly been sent 8 Christmas trees, turkeys, decorations and gifts – and have even organised a special screening of the new Star Wars film.

But 500 British troops in Afghanistan, the largest British deployment overseas, have been given a total of £500 for their Christmas celebrations – just £1 per person.

One British officer serving in Kabul told the Sunday Times: ‘The contrast between the American and British approach is staggering.

"As an army we don’t have as much money as the US, but even the Danish and Mongolians seem to be doing more."

Theresa May paid tribute to the forces in her Christmas message but the men and women on the ground have not seen her words translated into funds.

One soldier said: "They haven’t even sent us enough for a coffee. The Americans send in more money to feed the stray cats on their compound."

6 Grammar Mistakes Even Smart People Make

Make fewer (or is it less?!) errors with these expert tips.

1 I or Me after a preposition and another person
The rule: Use “Me.”
Incorrect version: “She went to the store with Sally and I.”
Correct version: “She went to the store with Sally and me.”
Incorrect version: “Between you and I…”
Correct version: “Between you and me…”
“I tell people to imagine the sentence with only one person because that usually makes the pronoun choice clear,” says MignonFogarty, creator and host of the Grammar Girl podcast on the Quick and Dirty Tips network. So think of it this way: You wouldn’t say, “She went to the store with I,” right? “Adding Sally doesn’t change anything,”

2 Effect versus Affect
The rule: Effect is usually a noun, while affect is typically a verb.
Incorrect version: “The book really effected me.”
Correct version: “The book really affected me.”
Incorrect version: “The book had an affect on me.”
Correct version: “The book had an effect on me.”
“Mixing up ‘affect’ and ‘effect’ is one of the most common errors because not only do they sound alike, but they also have similar meanings,” Fogarty says. There are exceptions (such as “to effect change” or “a baffled affect”), but most of the time affect is a verb and effect is a noun, says Mary Norris, a page OK’er at The New Yorker magazine and the author of

3 Further versus Farther
The rule: Farther refers to an actual distance, while further should be used for a figurative distance.
Incorrect version: “Macy’s is further away than Nordstrom.”
Correct version: “Macy’s is farther away than Nordstrom.”
“The traditional American thinking is that ‘farther’ is for physical distance (e.g., ‘Macy’s is farther than Nordstrom’) and ‘further" is for figurative distance (e.g., ‘Don’t bother me about this further’),” Fogarty says, “but in British English, people use the two more interchangeably, so that may be a reason that American speakers have trouble remembering the difference.”

4 Lie versus Lay
The rule: People lie, things lay .
Incorrect version: “I’m going to lay down for a few minutes.”
Correct version: “I’m going to lie down for a few minutes.”
“You lay an object somewhere, and you lie if you’re taking action on your own,” Fogarty says. “I suspect people get confused because of the children’s prayer Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep .”

5 Impact as a verb
The rule: Impact is a noun, not a verb.
Incorrect version: “The story really impacted me.”
Correct version: “The story really influenced me.”
“Eek, screech, agh! Even educated people now use ‘impact,’ as a verb. I’m a purist,” Norris says. “Impact should stay a noun unless you are talking about having an impacted wisdom tooth.” She suggests saying “influence” instead.
Fogarty says she suspects the root of the issue might come back to number two—people don’t know whether to use affect or effect, so they (incorrectly) use impact instead. Her fix: “You’ll almost always have a stronger sentence if you explain how it affected you instead: ‘The story changed the way I think about seahorses,’ or ‘The story made me stop what I was doing and call my mother to tell her I love her.’”

6 Fewer versus Less Than
The rule: Use fewer for countable items (with some exceptions).
Incorrect version: “There are less than three pieces of pizza left.”
Correct version: “There are fewer than three pieces of pizza left.”
“Typically, ‘fewer’ is for things you can count, and ‘less’ is for things you can’t count, but time, money, and distance are exceptions to the rule,” Fogarty says. Check out her full explanation on the difference between the two words here .

Jealous Husband Cuts Off Wife's Hands' After Accusing Her Of Having An Affair

A jealous husband 'cut off both his wife's hands' in a fit of rage after he accused her of having an affair.

Doctors have managed to save one of the woman's hands during emergency surgery but have not been able to re-attach the other.

Dmitry Grachyov, 26, launched the medieval-style attack at his wife Margarita after he accused her of being unfaithful.

He took the mother of his two children to a forest, says reports in Moscow, and used an axe to hit her fingers as he tried to torture her in for confessing.

The woman denied the accusations, according to police reports, so Grachyov is said to have one hand then the other.

Blood gushing from both arms, Grachyov is then reported to have driven his wife to hospital and gave himself up to police.

Margarita needed a "highly complex" nine-hour operation to reconnect one hand after the attack by her husband who has been called "Othello with an axe".

The right hand and arm was "too damaged" in the gruesome attack to be saved, say doctors.

A video showed Grachyov in a court cage after he was detained.

He has been remanded in custody pending investigations into the incident.

Egyptian Singer Jailed For Wearing Underwear, Suggestively Eating Banana In Music Video

An Egyptian court has jailed a singer for two years for inciting debauchery, judicial sources said, after she appeared in a music video in her underwear and suggestively eating a banana.

Shyma’s song, titled “I have issues”, sparked controversy on social media in the conservative country.

The singer, who was fined 10,000 Egyptian pounds ($560), can appeal the verdict to a higher court.

The director of the video was also fined and sentenced to two years in prison, but in absentia. Both defendants were accused of inciting debauchery and producing a video harming public morality.

Shyma, whose real name is Shaimaa Ahmed, was arrested on Nov. 18 before being referred to the prosecution for investigation. She denied the accusations, saying the director included the controversial scenes without her consent.

Tens of young Egyptians were arrested in September for attending a concert in Cairo where a rainbow flag was raised. They were also accused of debauchery, harming public morality and other accusations.

Tanzania To Begin Arrest Of Pregnant Teenagers

A regional commissioner in Tanzania, John Mongella, has announced that pregnant teenagers will now be arrested and charged to court, The Citizen reports.

Mongella, speaking on Monday, said pregnant teenagers have a tendency to not divulge who it was that got them pregnant. They should be taken to court, he said, and should be forced to testify and name the persons who impregnated them. He said:

There have been a tendency of pregnant schoolgirls not to mention the name of a person who impregnated them. This is a challenge when one is required to testify in court.

Directors and district commissioners in the Mwanza region have been ordered to locate all pregnant schoolgirls and take them to court.

This is following a move in June by Tanzanian President John Magufuli, where he upheld a law that bans girls from returning to school after they have given birth.

Both the upholding of the law and the move by Mongella have been described as an infringement against the human rights of the girls.

U.S, Russian Banks Lose $10m To Hackers

A previously undetected group of Russian-language hackers silently stole nearly $10 million from at least 18 mostly U.S. and Russian banks in recent years by targeting interbank transfer systems, a Moscow-based security firm said on Monday.

Group-IB warned that the attacks, which began 18 months ago and allow money to be robbed from bank automated teller machines (ATMs), appear to be ongoing and that banks in Latin America could be targeted next.

The first attack occurred in the spring of 2016 against First Data’s “STAR” network, the largest U.S. bank transfer messaging system connecting ATMs at more than 5,000 organisations, Group-IB researchers said in a 36-page report.

The firm said it was continuing to investigate a number of incidents where hackers studied how to make money transfers through the SWIFT banking system, while stopping short of saying whether any such attacks had been carried out successfully.

SWIFT said in October that hackers were still targeting its interbank messaging system, but security controls instituted after last year’s $81 million heist at Bangladesh’s central bank had thwarted many of those attempts. (reut.rs/2z1b7Bo)

Group-IB has dubbed the hacker group “MoneyTaker” after the name of software it used to hijack payment orders to then cash out funds through a network of low-level “money mules” who were hired to pick up money from automated teller machines.

The security researchers said they had identified 18 banks who were hit including 15 across 10 states in the United States, two in Russia and one in Britain. Beside banks, financial software firms and one law firm were targeted.

Photos: Meghan Markle’s Dad Unveiled

The man who will become Prince Harry's father-in-law lives a secluded life in a little yellow house perched high on a 120-foot cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, DailyMailTV reveals.

Thomas Markle, 73, is seen in exclusive DailyMailTV pictures at his home in Rosarito,Mexico just south of the border with the U.S., where he lives in a peaceful retirement.

And according to residents, Markle enjoys spending time relaxing at home, shops at Walmart, and tells friends: 'Have you heard of Meghan Markle? I am her dad.'

It is a lifestyle far removed from the family into which his daughter is marrying.

His red-tiled home sits on a cobblestone street, with plywood covering the windows that face inland.

But on the other side, he enjoys sweeping views of pelicans flying low over the Pacific and curlews and other wading birds strutting on the shore.

The outline of the Coronado Islands, eight miles out to sea, can be seen in the distance.

Thomas's family recently confirmed that he will be attending his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry.

When approached by DailyMailTV he said: 'I can't speak out of respect for my family. I just can't.'

Directly below his house is a long sandy beach which is almost always deserted. He has no steps down but can drive the quarter mile to the shore instead.

When he does leave home he walks with a noticeable limp.

The Markle family says it stems from a leg injury two years ago, but will not stop him from walking his younger daughter down the aisle of St George's Chapel in Windsor next spring.

Markle's life in Rosarito could hardly be more different from the world his daughter has entered by becoming engaged to Prince Harry, fifth in line to the British throne.

In Rosarito, his neighbors are a mix of locals and Americans and many of the apartments in the complex are let to vacationers.

One Of The Nicest Things That Happened To Me This Year Is Dating Temi Otedola- Mr Eazi

Mr Eazi in a chat with HipTv has explained the highlight of his year and says aside from his hits, dating Billionaire Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi is also one of the best things that happened to him.

“I think at the end of the day it is still all love. For instance, I’m just coming straight from Benin, which we shut down. What I saw there, I didn’t know people partied on Wednesdays."

“I was so shocked the DJ had more Mr Eazi songs than my DJ. So after I had finished performing, the DJ continued playing songs. It just goes to show that there is still love and it is just teasing" he said.

On being criticized for running out of hit songs and recycling old ones during performances, Mr Eazi said; “I think it can be some people’s opinion but if you go out, I’m still performing those songs. I dropped my mixtape in February, and the plan was to promote the mixtape. And I have toured the world with the mixtape,” he said.

“In Benin, I was still performing ‘Short Skirt’, ‘Leg Over’, ‘Business’, ‘Life is Eazi’, that is four songs from a mixtape in one year, and I still performed ‘Pour Me Water’. If I can do that in one year, I think that’s not valid.”

About his relationship with Temi Otedola, Eazi said:

“It is one of the highlights of my year. It’s been one of the nicest things to happen to me this year. You know love is sweet. At least I have more inspiration for plenty songs."

“So don’t be shocked that my new songs are going to be love-based,”he said.

Instant Triple Talaq: Husbands Could Now Be Jailed 3 Years In India

A man attempting to divorce his wife in India through instant triple talaq in any form — spoken, written or communicated through electronic means like instant messages and emails — can be handed out three years’ imprisonment and a fine.

Their government will bring a bill in the winter session of Parliament that will criminalise instant triple talaq, or talaq-e-biddat, and accord rights of maintenance and a child’s custody to the victim of such a divorce, according to a top source in the law ministry.

The offence will be cognisable and non-bailable.

Talaq-e-biddat is a custom under Muslim personal law that allows a man to divorce his wife by uttering the word “talaq” thrice. Though a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court struck down the practice as illegal in a 3:2 judgement on August 22, it has continued, the source who has been involved in drafting the bill, said.

Mayweather Sues Former Fiancee, Shantel Jackson Who Is Now With Rapper Nelly For Theft

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has filed a lawsuit against his former fiancee Shantel Jackson, claiming that she had stolen cash from him and used his credit cards without permission to go on shopping sprees.

As TMZ Sports first reported on Friday, the 40-year-old undefeated fighter claims in his civil complaint that Jackson, 33, would make purchases with his money and then have them shipped to a secret location to cover her tracks.

Jackson is currently dating rapper Nelly, and the two are featured on the E! show The Platinum Life, which follows the exploits of famous musicians' wives and girlfriends.

According to court documents, during their time together, Jackson would praise Mayweather in public to gain his confidence  - and allegedly dupe him into thinking he could trust her.

'As a result of that confidence, Mayweather, who's education ended at eighth grade, did not audit or otherwise inspect either his cash or his credit card statements for theft by Jackson,' the documents state.

Mayweather only found out that Jackson had been allegedly taking advantage of him, according to the lawsuit, when a mutual friend told him she had been boasting about her alleged scheme.

Jackson, who is the inventor of the Shoe Gummi insoles designed for high heels, sued Mayweather in 2014, accusing the athlete of beating her during their relationship and later publicly humiliating her on social media by posting on Twitter a sonogram of her pregnancy and saying they broke up because she got an abortion.
